Fifty? FIFTY.

I never thought fifty people would be interested in hearing me ramble, seeing my photos, and reading my poetry and random prose. I am grateful for every single one of you. Thank you for giving me the most precious gift, your time, and supporting me and my small corner of the internet.

For the new followers, and for the ones that have been here since the beginning. My name is Layne (lay-knee) Joy, and I'm pleased to meet you. Today, I'm going to share fifty facts with you about myself, and I'm going to try to keep them fresh, which is going to be a bit tricky, but it should also be fun. (:

1. I own a lot of dresses, they're my favorite thing to wear.

2. I love road trips, and traveling. Seeing new things is my biggest thrill.

3. I am currently working on a novel, a short story, and a poetry book.

4. I crochet and I love to craft. I'm planning on trying my hand at embroidery in the near future.

5. I went to school for English, and would like to attend graduate school for writing.

6. I currently live just outside of Chicago, but would love to move to Los Angeles.

7. I collect E.T. memorabilia, lighters, cassettes, and lapel pins.

8. I am 19 Funko Pops, and 19 is my lucky number.

9. Harry Potter is my home fandom, but I love LotR and Star Wars, too.

10. I adore being around bodies of water, and engulfed in forests.

11. My favorite place I have visited is France, hands down.

12. I also collect owls, they're my favorite animal; except for the ones in the Fourth Kind.

13. I am fascinated by true crime, and it makes up most of the documentaries I watch.

14. I attended three different colleges before receiving my Bachelor's, and each one taught me important things.

15. I believe everything happens for a reason.

16. My two worst habits are procrastination, and running late.

17. I love to help people, that's how I spend my life. I want to make things easier on other people even if it's at my own expense.

18. My favorite flowers are Tulips.

19. My best friend and I have been best friends for about ten years.

20. I have met Tom Felton, Brian Sella, and Grace Helbig.

21. I spend a lot of money on coffee, but never buy coffee at full price.

22. Every time I have gone to Six Flags with a boy, we break up shortly after.

23. Aside from Pan's Labyrinth, my favorite films are E.T., A Clockwork Orange, and the Breakfast Club.

24. My favorite Harry Potter is Half Blood Prince.

25. I believe women are stronger when they work together instead if viewing each other as competition.

26. I started college as an Acting major, and I absolutely hated it.

27. I used to do a lot of musical theater, and regular theater, and have won awards from acting.

28. I know the School of Rock forward and backward.

29. I left my hair straightener on all day and there's a burn mark on my floor.

30. My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls.

31. My favorite Disney Channel show was Bug Juice.
32. I love taking photos of sunrises and sunsets.
33. I watch way too much Catfish. My favorite episode is the one with Antoine and his cousin.
34. I love puppies.
35. I spend far too much time on tumblr, but have met one of my favorite human beings on there.
36. Wisconsin Dells is one of my favorite places to visit because of the nostalgia.
37. I don't own a car.
38. I was in an ex-boyfriend's friend's car and he had the quote, "Be kind, for everyone you know is fighting their own battles," and that is how I try to live.
39. Also, "To each their own."
40. I prefer glitter and pastel nail polish.
41. I have a new found love for Chinese food. I used to dislike it a lot, but now it's all I think about.
42. My favorite musical is the Phantom of the Opera.
43. I love to do puzzles: jigsaw, crossword, word search, logic, etc.
44. I take a lot of photos, and I bring my camera everywhere.
45. Carrie Fisher is my idol.
46. My celebrity crushes are Leonardo DiCaprio, Milo Ventimiglia, and Javier Bardem.
47. Nothing makes me dance harder than You've Got Time by Regina Spektor, it's the theme song to OITNB.
48. I could watch reruns of Boy Meets World and Saved by the Bell forever.
49. I have a habit of looking up the end of movies before I watch them.
50. I don't have a favorite season, but there was a moment in high school tennis where we went to a park in the Fall and the trees were the perfect autumnal shades, and the weather was perfect, and that's one of my favorite memories.
